A SLAP FOR A FOUL.
PARTS, Jan 16. A match for the Paris girls’ football championship came to an end yesterday. The two teams, Eemina Sports and En Avant, had scored a goa.l each at hafl-ime. When play was resumed an Kji Avant player soundly slapped an adversary, 'whom she accused of a foul. The referee ordered the guilty girl player to withdraw from the field, but her comrades took her part and refused to continue the game. The referee then gave the victory to Femina Sports.
