A FRENCH OUTBURST
(Received This Onv i>t 10.15 a.m.) PARIS, March 14. The newspaper “Matin” attacks Hon. Lloyd George for a serious blunder in his policy towards the Islamic Empire, it says—“ Lloyd George has aroused hostility in Egypt, a revolt in India, unrest in Trait, rudeness in Constantinople and enmity in Asia Minor, and crowning all this, the great Jews of England, like Montagu and Lord Residing. Despite the opposition 'of great Jews in America, lie created the Jewish state of Jerusalem which the whole of shuddering Islam considers the most mortal insult. Consequently in three years, the British Empire, throughout its length and breadth cracks and begins to crumble. Egypt is going, India is in revolt, and all Islam is threatening its head.”
