VT7STR ALTAN AND N. 7.. CABLE ASSOCIATION. SWIMMING RECORD QUESTIONED. SYDNEY, March 10. The newspaper “Arrow’s” swimming expert, commenting on the recent New Zealand doings, says:—“World’s and Australasian records are being toyed with to an astonishing degree. They I were knocked off their high perches as if ordinary things. It behoves the Custodian of Records to have care, particularly in regard to the women’s per- 1 formances, which were no doubt timed I by women, who, through lack of experience do not handle the chronometer | with the accuracy of men. The expert I asks that if there was anyone checking these claims?
