Reinforcements for the Republican fortress have arrived at Limerick, but the peace has been preserved. A Republican manifesto states the occupation of the town is due to the fact that Commandant Muleahy (of the Headquarters 1.R.A.) has broken his profin fee to k e ep the Irish Republican Army intact until the Irish elections.
BELFAST FIRING
LONDON, March 9.
Spasmodic firing continues in Belfast. A blind man, groping his way homeward with a boy, were both shot in the head and died. Three others were wounded by snipers, who fired from the roofs of houses into the Royal avenue. Panics are frequent among pedestrians.
