Believed to havle died at sea 6 years ago while a passenger on board the Dalian 'liner Ancona, torpedoed by the Germans in the Mediterranean, Signorina Bufaletti, daughter of a Turin pianist, is now reported to be in the Imperial Palace at Constantinople. After being rescued, Signorina Bufaletti was taken to Bv'.erta, where, it is stated, she was sold as a slave to the Sultan of Turkey, who made her one of his favourites. By him she is said to have had two children Signorina Bufaletti’B family has now applied to the Queen- of Italy to secure her liberation.
