TOKIO, March 7. Well informed political leaders declare that the fall of the Takahaahi Government is inevitable. This statement is followed by the Premier’s appeal to the House to adopt the Budget, even if its adoption carried inference of lack of confidence in the Cabinet. M. Talcaliashi, in his appeal, practically intimated that his intention is to tender his resignation.
THE PACIFIC TRIEATY. WASHINGTON, March 7. Senator Whitehouse has announced that President Harding will maintain ft “hands off” attitude towards the Senate fight against the Pacific Treaty. The President believes the Treaty is the best that can be negotiated, and does not intend to lobby, duplicate, or admonish the Senate regarding it.
WOOL SAUUS. LONDON, March 7. The wool sales have opened. Merinos declined five to seven and ft half per cent, but crossbreds were practically unchanged.
