ACTION FOR DAMAGES. (Received This Day at 8.30 a.m.) LONDON, March 7. At Cardiff Assizes, Harold Greenwood, solicitor of Kidwelly wiio was liequitted of poisoning his wife, eighteen months ago, has brought an action against Dare proprietors of the Waxwork at Cardiff. ( Greenwood’s counsel stated that damages were being sought for a very gross libel. Defendant exhibited Greenwood’s effigy in the Chamber of Horrors. The effigy was placed close to Charles Peace. On one side was a woman who was hanged for a cruel murder and on the other side was MneSweeney, Lord Mayor of Cork.

GERMAN AIR CRAFT. PARIS, March 7. The “Matin” says France and Britain have agreed regarding the conditions under which Germany will bo allowed from May sth to resume the .manufacture of commercial air craft. The technical definition gives limits of weight, dimensions, speed, and engine power, beyond which an aircraft shall be defined as military, and must be destroyed. Machines conforming to the specified limits shall be regarded as commercial and may be manufactured for export. Other conditions relate to control of factories, their technical personnel and the Permanent Control Commission, GENOA CONGRESS. (Received This Day at 9.40 a.m.) PARIS, March 7. The Italian Government lias officially accepted the proposal that the Genoa Congress should open on 10th April. Proceedings will he suspended for the Easter holidays.

GENOA CONFERENCE. (Received This Day at 8.30 a.in.) PARIS, March 7. The “Matin” states definitely that Genoa Conference will open in April. M, Poincaire desiring to show the great importance which Franco attaches to the Conference, will attend, hut probably only for tile opening session, in consequence of M. Millcrand’s absence in Algeria.
