SATURDAY’S GALA.

ON THE BOWLING GREEN. The Bowling Club’s gala on Saturday afternoon only requires a fine day to ensure its success. There will a produce stall, well stocked with bargains, a dainty afternoon tea room and a lollie stall with sweets to tempt everyone. The various competitions include putting competitions (one for golfers and one for novices), drawing competitions for bowlers, a croquet competition and other items to help while away a pleasant hour. At the last gala the putting competition proved of viery great interest and it was not won until the last competitor put up a record and winning score.

The ladies as usual are busy, and their departments are sure to he attractive and interesting.

Admission to the ground is free and all are cordially invited.
