ENGLISH ASSOCIATION CUP. LONDON, March 3. The fourth round of the Association Cup is arousing tremendous interest. The most attractive match is that of Cardiff v. Tottenham Hotspurs (tho present holders) who are bracketed in the fourth position in the First League division. Cardiff is the first Welsh

team to reach the fourth round in the Cup. Their rise since they were promuted from the Second League this season lias been phenomenal. Until beaten by Chelsea last Saturday, they had not tasted defeat since December 6th. Tottenham Hotspurs have also been doing splendidly, and a rare struggle is expected, as the teams are regarded as the most scientific in the country. Another keen match is expected between Notts County and Aston Villa who are old cup-tie rivals. In the Association Cup fourth round Notts County scored 2 goals and Aston Villa 2. Cardiff City scored 1 goal and Tottenham Hotspurs also 1. ' INTERNATIONAL game, LONDON, March 4. In an 'international Association match, Scotland defeated Ireland by 2 goals to 1.
