The Prince’s Visit.
iJJRTUMJA’I ANU N.Z. CABLE ASSOCIATION. DELHI, Feb. 27. The Prince of Wales spent an hour in the N°i'th-"'estern Railway shops at Moghulpura, viewing the construction of carriages and locomotives in all branches and accepted a model of the saloon in which he travelled throughout India, as a souvenir. He received a demonstrative reception wherever he went. Afterwards he visited the Legislative Council, and replied to the President’s address of welcome. This is the only legislative body in India possessing a mace, consisting of a Persian battle-axe, formerly in a Sikh armoury at a Lahore fort.
