SUPREME COURT.
NAPIER. Feb. 28. Justice Reed opened the Supreme Court this morning. There is considerable interest in the first case commenced in which a well-known Hawkes Bay sheep farmer Alorgan Davies, is charged with manslaughter, arising out of accused’s motor-ear knocking down and killing a lad aged six, last November. The lad was returning home from school and it is alleged Davies did not stop after-the accident, but went to Hastings and transacted business and then returned to Napier and washed down his car.
