A meeting of the general committee of the Hokitika Bowling Glub will bo held in the pavilion this (Monday) evening at 7 o’clock sharp. • ! The usual play took place on the,local green on Saturday afternoon, Mf>, green playing very fast, but there was not a large attendance. Afternoon tea was kindly provided by Mesdames Galbraith and Urquhart. HANDICAP PAIRS. i The entries, draws, and handicaps for the Handicap Pairs, for trophies presented by Mr J. J. Mclntosh are as. follows, the games to .be of 16 heads: —. SECTION A. Points. iT. W. Bruce and A. B. King ... 4 Heinz and W. Wilson 4 O’Brien and Blank 1 J. Stevenson and Hickson 7 Sclmltz and Benjamin 4 SECTION B. Bain and Stevenson sCr Wells and J. H. Wilson 2 Macfarlane and Boyd 4 bishop and Aldridge 4 Pilkington and Thompson 6 Each pair of a section to meet all the other pairs of the section, and the winners of each seotion to play off the final. Members are requested to arrange fqr the .playing pf their games as early as possible.
