OIL SUPPLIES. NEW YORK, Feb. 20. The American Institute of Mining and Metaiurgicai Engineers has received a report from its committee, which declares that Japan has three centuries of an oil supply at the present rate of comsumpion, while the United States has only 20 years’ reserve. The engineers are holding a conference, and will discuss! the oil and miner®! situation of the entire world, including Australia. They will be urging the adoption of a foreign international miners’ policy by Congress.
