OKARITO RACES
(From a Correspondent). OKA'RiITO, Feb. 20. The Okarito Races took place to-day on the Okarito racecourse. There was perfect weather, and a large attendance, much interest being shown in the various events. The following are the results':-
BRUCE BAY HANDICAP (Of £lO, 51 furlongs). lan Hamilton ...! 1 Mystified 2 Tyson 3 Won easily. OKARITO HANDICAP. (Of £SO, li miles). Timera 1 North Inch 2. Preludium 3 Also started.:—Kolyma and Royal Dragoon. A good race. Time 2,26 3-5. NORTHERN HANDICAP. (Of £l2, 6 furlongs). Cashman 1 Charleroi 2 Won easily. Time 1.29. WAIHO HANDICAP. (Of £l4, 6 furlongs). Tail Hamilton 1 Tyson 2 Time 1.25. SOUTHER N HANDICAP. (Of £l6, 7 furlongs). Royal Dragoon 1 Timera 2 Trojan 3 Also started:—Cashman. Tim ( > 1.41. FAREWELL HANDICAP. (Of £lO, 6 furlongs). Preludium 1 Mystified 2 Royal Dragoon 3 Also started:—Tyson. Time 1.24.
