FINE FUR COAT AND RAGS.
ROME, Dec. 24
The police have arrested a man who was wearing a fine fur coat, a smart hat and gloves, but whose clothes were in rags and whose toes protruded from liis boots. When taken to the police station he declared that he was Cristo Tehorirkorsky, a Bulgarian. Several thousand lire were found on him and in his room at an hotel many valuables were also discovered. He lias now, it is stated, been recognised as a notorious international thief wanted for many frauds both in Europe and South America. EX-KAISER SNUBBED. BERLIN, Dec. 22. The quarroll in the Hohenzollern family about baby Prince Carl of Prussia, a grandson of the ex-Kaiser has come to an end.
After the death, of the baby’s father, j Prince Joachim, the ex-Kaiser decreed | that he should be placed under the guardianship of his uncle, Prince Eitel Friedrich. The child’s mother naturally resented this arrangement and sought redress in the law courts of the, republic. The Potsdam court, holding out: that the house laws of the Hohenzollern family had no force in Prussia, decided thrtt the Prince should he given to hn« mother. Prince Eitel Friedrich appealed against this decision. He has now decided to drop' the appeal and . has consented to restore the hoy to Princess Joachim.
