The attendance was again large. The track record in the big event Was broken by General Advance. The' tote handled £37,964 *los for the day, compared with £49,61)7 on the second day last year, making a total of £71,944 IQs, for the meeting, compared with £94,937 10s last year. Results.- —

Jockey Club Handicap.—General Advance 1, Insurrection 2, Trespass 3. Won by a lengh. Time 2.6 4-5. This was a track record.
