LATE LOCALS.
Hon. 11. -Michel, who is to give a lecture shortly on “Samoa and other islands of the Pacific” lias secured about 100 lantern slides taken by the Government phoographer who accompanied the Parliamentary party to the Islands of the Pacific. Dr Teiehelmann has kindly consented to screen the photos which are stated to he of a very fine nature. A very smart lot of Jersey jumpers, American crepe de chine jumpers, also pinafore blouses suitable for the holidays are creating a great demand at Schroder and Go’s; who also stock a fine range of ladies’ hose, and silk underwear. —Advt
