Visit of General Sir A. H. Russell.
General Sir A. H. Russell accompanied by the President and the Secretary of the Christchurch branch and the secretary of the Wellington branch of the Returned Soldiers Associati. >" will arrive in Hokitika by car at 6 p.m. on Friday next the 10th inst. The party will stay at Keller’s Hotel. At 7.30 p.m a welcome will be extended to the General by the local authorities at the Town. Hall. At 8 p.m #e General will deliver an address on belief of Returned Soldiers. At Dm conclusion of the addresß and during his stay in Hokitika, Genera] Russell will only be too pleased to meet all Returned Soldiers collectively and individually. On Saturday morning providing the weather is favourable the visiting party will be driven to Kanieri Lake and also to the Rimu Dredge. The General’s itinerary is as follows; —Greymouth 9th, Hokitika 10th, Ross 11th.', Reefton 13th., Westport 15th. instant
