U-BOAT PRISONER

BERLIN, Jan. 30 Lieut Leitman, who was sentenced by the Leipzig Court for sinking the hospital ship Llandovery Castle, has escaped from Lemburg gaol, with the assistance of some of a gang of former U-boat officers, who recently helped Coldt to escape. Leitman enjoyed special privileges. After his warder had been bribed, lie scaled his prison wall, and jumped into a waiting motorcar.
