B•/ TELEGRAPH —PRESS ASSN., COPYUIRUT.. VICTORIA v. NEW SOUTH WALES. SYDNEY, Jan 29. The weather was fine and wicket good for the second day’s play in the New South Wales v. Victoria match. In the second innings Victoria scored 344 for the loss of four wickets.
O’Keefe made 79, Ryder 95, Ilarkopt 30, Ransford 34, and: Mayne 27. The play was rather slow and dull as none of the batsmen, were taking the slightest risk.
Ryder’s score, 95, took 2Q6 minutes to compile.
