CONSIDERABLE UNREST ' L'STIIAI.IAN AND N.Z. CABLE ASSOCIATION. 'Received Tins Day at 9.40 a.m.) DELHI, January 28. A crowded extremist meeting at Calcutta on Thursday caused all traffic to be stopped for sevral hours. A large force of police and armed Ghurlcas attempted to disperse the demonstrators, but were stoned. One Sergeant and two constables were wounded. Ultimately the crowds dispersed. The meeting will he held again on Friday. Crowds are refusing to move even when charged, and the police were again stoned, 3 sergeants several constables and a number of the public were injjiflred. Eight arrests were made.

Four thousand mill hands demanded the release of an arrested man, who had assaulted the manager, and stoned the police, wounding the deputy superintendent and twelve constables.
