RQL > WEDNESDAY AND TH I’DSD AY. ; On Wednesday Pollards are present- ‘ ing a Selzniek feature drama in six reels entitled “Pleasure Seekers” starring Elaine Hammerstein, and:supporting this .is a, (Topical Budget, ,-Pa the* Review and a comedy. “Pleasure Seekers’’ is one of the best productions, in which ,Elaine Haminorstein lias (appeared; it has comedy and drama, expwfcly blended, and is gripping in its.dramaijic moments and amusing in its lighter scenes. Although not new. the story has many novel twists which carry it away from the commonplace, and show up its high light amusement value. But it is Elaine Hammerstein’s acting, especially’ in the tenser moments that gives the. impetus to an -already goW' story. Affecting to a degree, are the* scenes where stie sets .out fo bring a wayward husband, whom she finds straying from the ; path of rectitude. None the .less entertaining arc tl r comedy touches that arc plentifully bestrewed through the dramatic scenes. Frank Carrier is responsible .for a Fpoj character study in the role of -Tohn, Winchell. i
