Hospital Appointment. j The Minister of Health is encounter--1 ing. considerable trouble over a provision in the Hospital Bill, making appointments by hospital boards subject ( to ministerial approval. There is so much opposition to the clause from his j own side of the House that he will find i it impossible to carry it through committee, despite his strenuous advocacy of control, in view of the fact that the Government! pays nearly half tfa'e Binaries of hospital employees.
