Tliree young men charged with being , on licensed premises (Occidental Ho- ( tell after hours, wer e convicted. One j was fined l £2 and costs 7s, one £1 and j costs 7a and one to pay costs 7b. A charge against another defendant of a similar nature (Marquis of Lome Hotel) -was dismissed. A LOTTERY. The police charged W. Jeffries and M Hatch with conducting a game of chance in connection with St- Mary’s BazlaaiA Mr Joyce for defendants' ph-aded guilty and a conviction was recorded in both eases and each ordered to pay costs of 7s. - WANDERING STOCK. W. Thomson, County Ranger (Mr Park) v. G. Harcourt, a charge of allowing a oow tol wander on the road at i Woodstock After hearing the evidence 1 of Ranger and defendant a conviction was recorded and defendant fined 5s and costs 7s, counsel’s fee 7s. Same v. Clias Cochrane, 1 horse at Kokatahi on 18th Nov. Fined 5s and costs 7s, and counsel’s fe® 7s. Same v. Wm O’Brien, 1 horse on , Kokatahi Road. Fined Its, court costs 7s and counsel’s fee 7s. CYCLING ON FOOTPATHS. C. Gibbons, Borough Inspector (Mr Park) v. W. T. Jones, a charge of ridin r a bicycle on the footpath in Hamp- ; de„ Street. Fined 5s and costs 7s, [ counsel’s fee 7s. ! Same v. F. Scott, a- charge of ndmg , a bicvcle on a footpath, and! further ! with depositing a load of rubbish in jRe veil Street North. A plea of guitiy was entered in both cases. The defendant, a lad, stated he was working for Cameron and thought he had gone to the right place. Convicted and for i cycling on foofpath fined 5s and costs 7s ami on the charge of depositing rubbih ordered to pay costs 7s, counsel’s fee 7s. Same v. S. Rowe, a charge of riding a footpath in Hampden Street. Fined 5 g and costs 7s, counsel’s fee 7s. SEPARATION ORDER. - An application for a separation order, maintenance order and custody of children was consented to by defendant. Mr Murdoch appeared for plain tilff. Order made in terms of agree •men®.. DEBT CASES. . Commissioner of Crown Lands (Mr Park) v. A. Muir, claim £3 18s 4d. Judgment for amount less £2 paid, with costs 11s. Wm. McLean (Mr Park) v. H. H. Adamson claim £ll 6s Bd. Judgment far amount claimed with costs £2 13s and counsel's fee £1 11s 6d.. A. H. Wilmot (Mr Sellers) v. Wm. Egan, claim £7 17s 6d. Judgment for amount less £2 10s paid, with costs 30s 6d, JUDGMENT SUMMONS. E. C. Toohey v. M. Curtain, judgment summons £l6 4s 6d. Order made for payment within 14 days, in default 14 days imprisonment. A. Haines (Mr Murdock) v. Geo Dale judgment summons £9/2/6. Order made for payment of 10s weekly, payable monthly, in default seven days.
