PRINCE AND DUKE IN DIVORCE SUIT. NEW YORK, Nov 10. Mr James Stanley Joyce, the millionaire husband of the former Miss Peggy Hopkins was granted a decree of divorce in the Chicago Cou.t yesterday on the grounds of cruelty and infidelity. By an agreement between the parties the former chorus girl receives a lump sum of £20,000 out of which she has to pay the costs of the action. She is allowed fo keep her jewellery and furs, valued at £250,000, given by her husband, but she has to return other valuables worth £70,000 which she has received from him. Other property, including motor cars and house furnishings, which she retains under) the agree ment, brings a total benefit of £325,000. She agreed to renounce all claims on Mr Joyce’s estate, including a house valued at £60,000 which he bought for her at Miami, Florida, and also returns certain insurance policies and other documents. Before the decree was pronounced yestei-day evidence of misconduct by Mrs Joyce with several men was given by Mr Joyce’s former secretary, Mrs Julia Sawdom, and her maid Hannah Nordstrom. The men mentioned include M. Henri Letellier, of the Paris journal; Mr Barton, a Frenoh member of a leading New York family; Prince do Fleuri of Albania; the Due de Durfeal ; Muarice, the dancer; and Mr Joe Padi, .the owner of al New York restaurant.
