Mr Griffiths’ Cabinet have decided to summon the Southern Ireland Parliament for Saturday for the establishment of a provisional government. Dublin Castle announces the disbandment of the Auxiliay Police and the Black and a Tans immediately. The “Irish Times” says the electors will accept the Free State Constitution by an overwhelming majority, and will relegate ‘to private life most of the persons who defined their wishes in the Dail Rireann. The “Irish Independent” says, instead of dissipating their energies in politicl conflicat, the Irishmen of all parties ought to concentrate upon the formulation of constitution ensuring for the Free State, the fullest benefit derivable from the Treaty.

IRISH LABOUR MANIFESTO. BEUTEJI’S TELEGRAMS* (Received This Day at 1.30 p.m.) LONDON, January 11,. A manifesto issued by thei Irish Labour Party concludes —“The hour has struck for workers to emerge from the shade,” and adds, “Workers struggle henceforth must Ik? against capitalism. Unless the new Government realises the supremacy of labour it will not he a Republic in the eyes of the workers.”
