The Prince’s Visit.

PRINCE LEAVES RANGOON.

REUTER’S TELEGRAMS.

DELHI, January 9. The Prince of Wales had another enthusiastic welcome on returning* J;o Rangoon, the whole population joining in the festivities. He has certainly captured the hearts of Burmese, even the lepers sending > a message of loyal greetings. The Prince witnessed a Burmese regatta on the Royal lakes, seven miles of which were magnificently lit by 120,000 lamps. He also saw an exhibition of Burmese boxing consisting mostly of shouting, jumping and crouching, victory apparently going to the noisiest and most acrobatic competitor. The Prince has departed from Rangoon for Madras.
