HANNAN AND PADDON
DANNEVIRKE, Jan 9
Hannan, the (sculler, has been in Dannovirke on a private visit. An offer to Mr Seifert to back Paddon for £SOO to give the Blenheimite ten lengths start over a 8£ mile course was brought under his notice bv a Dannevirke "News” representative. Hannan said it was undoubtedly a good offer. He would decline to make any announcement thereon until lie had consulted his backers in Blenheim regarding a match with Hadfield. He would then als consult them regarding Mr Seifert’s offer. Hannan leaves Dannevirke on Tuesday for Blenheim.
