The Central strike committee has decided to withdraw the men previously permitted to continue pumping the mines and public lighting services. The committee’s action is the result of an alleged cohtrnvertion of the agree conditions.

Strikers withdrew the utility workers and pumpers at the mines, owing to natives being employed to do a lute men’s work. They also asked the railwavmen to refuse to cxirry coal.
