METEOROLOGICAL.
Rev. D. C. Bates, Government Meteorologist announced the following forecast at noon to-day:— The indications are for freshening northerly strong to gale winds after about 16 hours. Expect warm and sultry conditions. Weather clouding over, rain later. Barometer falling. Seas moderate to swell on the coast; tides poor.
