I Boppe for the sake of intrigue with a ; girl when stationed! at Epinal, during the war, twice conspired to poison his wife under the guise* of affection, with cyanide. The plot was revealed by children, but the wife* forgave him. Later Boppe shot her twice in bed with a revolver simulating suicidal appearances. The wife was operated upon, but permanently disfigured. She again forgave and- endorsed the story that she attempted suicide. Later cji, learning that Boppe meant to abscond abroad with his mistress, the wife denounced him and procured hi.s arrest. j POLICE AIR MOVE. (Received This Dav at 10.15 a.m.) PARIS, Dec. 20.
