AR All UR A FAT STOCK SALE. Messrs M. Houston and Co report:— Our entry at tho above sale yesterday consisted of 2o fat cattle, (12 fat sheep and 23 fat latnhs. Tlio cattle yarded by Messrs Untie* and Co of \\ ittiroa were a. well finished line, for which there was keen competition, with the result that prices realized showed tut advance of from 30s to £2 per head on recent fixtures. Sheep and iambs also sold well. AA'e sold an account of Messrs Nolan Bros, Okuru, 59 tat sheep (shorn) at 22s 6d; on account of Mrs Cummings 3 fat sheep (woolly) at 23s 3d 25 fat lambs at 20s; on account of Messrs Butler and Co (AA’ataroa), 1 bullock at £ll os, 2 at £l2 17s tid, 2 at £l2 12s tid, *j at £l4 2s (id, 3 ft £l4, 2 at £l2 os, 3 at £l2 12s (id. 2 at £l3 Ids, 3 at £l3, 2 heifers at £9, 2 at £8 ds, l now at £9 12s 6d.

At the alhuc Yards yesterday there "as a modei ate entry ol sheep and eattie which were submitted to the usual competition. The quality was exceptionally good all round, a pen of lambs on account of Mrs Cummings selling well.

Messrs \Y. Jeffries and Co sold as follows : —On account Mi J. CL Meharry, 20 shorn hoggets at 17s 3d.. 20 at Ids Dd. On account Mrs Cummings 2o lambs at £l. On account Messrs Donovan Bros, 2 hill locks at £l2 12s (id.. 2 at CIO 7s (id. 2 at £9 55., 3 at CD, 1 heifer at £lO Ids., 2 at £S, 1 at C 7 ds., 3 at CO Ids., 3 at Cd 17s dd, 3 rows at £B, 2 at £7, 3 at Cd Ids, 2 at Cd 10s. 2 at Cd ds. and 2 at £1 17s Cd.

The Christ mas Bale at these Yards will he held on Monday the 19tli. inst. when an extra yarding of prime lambs sheep, and eattie will he submitted to enable butchers to purchase requirements for the ensuing three weeks as the first sale of the New Your will not lie held until Monday the 9th. of January.
