Thoughts For The Times

Thr Yrnns League. All those who remember—and there are few who do not—the three great battles around this old Flemish city when our Empre’s honour was staked and preserved against overwhelming odds will welcome Lord French’s appeal. The Ypres League will become a memorial worthy of the service for which it stands. With the co-operation of those who value the memory of that wonderful defence, this splendid organisation wil be preserved for posterity equally as will lie its motto, “Lest we forget.”
