WELLINGTON. Dec. 3 The progress return as at 20fh November shows:

Employment.-—The Department has placed 26, (KM discharged .soldiers in employment and there are at the present time 302 names oil the "Employment Wanted” Register (Auckland 78, W’ellington 123, Canterbury 63, Otago 38). It was necessary, during the months, to pay unemployment sustenance in one case of hardship.
