Caledonian Society,
The above Society are again heading the list of the New Year attractions by holding the Sports and Dancing Meeting on Cass Square. Although New Year's Day is to he celebrated on the
2nd .January. Monday, the life and suing of the gathering will still ho 100 per cent. It is always pleasing to see the children dance and this year it is anticipated that a numlier of children trom the Oroy Valley will ho amongst the competitors. As these children have not competed at the AAVst (east ( aledonian Society’s Sports in the past, it will he interesting‘to see how they get on. A Grand Scottish Concert, will he la-id in the evening in the Princess Theatre where a. selected iprogramme will 1)« given. The programme is not. : yet finally arranged, but it will witli- | out a doubt, meet with the favourable ; comment of all. I The Society are doing all possible to ! make tlie day a success so to crown this socross your duty is to attend the - gatherings and enter into the spirit of ! ithe Hrijt
