The Economy Report. The Taxpayers’ Federation and the Public Service Association have both asked that the report of the ficonomv Commission should be published and we are sure that every student of politics and finance would like to become acquainted with a document which, so wo are promised, is to have such an important influence on revenue, expenditure and taxation. If there are reasons why this information is lifting with-held from the public we :fbe sure they are not good reasons, and that the public welfare is not flie interest which is being served by secrecy.—Lyttelton Times.
