POLLARD’S PICTURES. “DINTY”—TO-NIGHT. To-night Pollard’s will present IVcsley Barry, the freckled faced ix'.v, whose freckles made him famous in “Daddy Bonn Bees” and “Don’t Ever Marry,” hut his crowning achievement has undoubtedly hern made in the pietuie “Dinty” which is to he shown in Hokitika for one night only to-night. Marshall Xeilan wrote and produced the story, and the freckled-faced Imv actor (Wesley Barry! plays the principal character and makes il a yell. It is the tale of a lighting newsboy who has an old Irish mother to support. San Francisco’s picturesque Chinatown is the locale for some of the scenes and the photoplay is replete with dramatic as well as amusing incidents. Among the unique characters who appear in .support of Mosley Barry as “Dintv’ 0 Sulivan. ate a Chinese youngster, and a jolly little picaninny. Held captive by the Chinks the district attorney’s fiancee who has been spirited awav to Chinatown is now sought for by police and detectives hut of no avail. Then “Dinty . the freckled head of the Newsboys’ Trust, hutted in. and things whirled and whizzed. The production leaves ft trail of mystery, commedy. and thrills which you arc not likely to foi get. for it is a motion picture triumph for Barry and*Neilan and cannot fail to delight every patron.
