The coach mail service troiil , Ross to Wailio Gorge will leave at ‘ a.m. on Thursdays, mail closing at Hokitika 2.15 p.m. M'eduesday, arliving at llaii llari at noon, and leaving at I p.m., and at The I'in ks, arriving at li. 15 p.m., leaving at < .30 p.m., leaching Waiho at S> p.m. It is with regret we announce tho death of Ml- David Hunter of the Pioneer Hotel. Hokitika, which took place at the Westland Hospital about mid-day to-day after a short, illness. The deceased was a native of Christchurch, aged Id years, amt resided in Hokitika, for some years. He leaves a. wife and three little hoys. II" was a member of the Pacific Lodge of Masons; also a member of the Druids' Lodge ami a member of the local 1 rotting Chill, ill all of which he will he sadly missed. The deceased also leaves four brothers, three in Christchurch, and HOC in Auckland: also two sisters residing in Christchurch. To Mrs Hunter and her little hoys and relatives we extend our sympathy in this their siul bereavement.
