Mr Seddon has asked the Minister in charge of the Valuation Department whether any amendment is proposed to the Valuation of Land Act, whereby alterations to the Valuation Roll under section 31 of that Act shall he deemed to date hack to the day when valuation objected' to was entered on the roll or rating hook. A suggestion is also made by Mr Seddon to the Premier Hint he'extend to Mr Lloyd George, the Prime Minister of Great Britain, an invitation to visit this Dominion aftei Mr Lloyd George goes to Washington, with a view to discussing the application of the terms of the Washington Conference to New Zealand and the Pacific Islands under its jurisdiction, ami discussing inter-Coloninl and Imperial matters.
