ARAHURA FAT STOCK SALE. At the above yards yesterday the entry eomprised 93 head ot fat, and torward cattle which were submitted to a regular attendance of buyers. Tim quality ranged from medium to extra prime, the entry of Mr W. Smith being regarded as the finest cattle penned for a long time. Per hundred, beef did not make any material fluctualioii compared with the last sale. If anything the advantage was ill sellers favour. Messrs W. Jeffries and Co. sold as follows. On account Messrs Nolan Bros. Emir bulks ks at £8 Is (id, I do at £8 os. I do at IS 2s (id, 12; f. and f. steers at £7 15s. two cows at £7 15s. 3 heifers at. £7, 5 do at Cfi 15s, 3do at £<i IDs. 5 do. at £0 7s fid. 8 do at Cfi. On account of client 3 bullocks at £9 7s fid. 2 do at £9 ss. Mr W. Smith’s Imo not reaching owners’ value were, passed and placed privately. Houston ami Cn.. report: -At the above Yards ye»terdn v our entry (xmsisted of 1.1 head of cattle, there being an absence of prime finished beef, most of the yarding lining travelled cattle from the far South, which suffered somewhat from the long drive. The next said at the above yards will be held on the usual date. 12th. December and it has been arranged to hold tlie Xmas Sale on Monday 19th, December which will be the last Sab' «f the year.
