LANDRU’S TRIAL.
AUSTRALIAN AND N.Z. CABLE ASSOCIATION. : PARIS, Nov 27. The prosecution at the I-andru trial closed its case. Anatomists gave evidence in connection with at least three distinct bodies, as three skulis, five feet, and six hands had been found. One person was tall .and bad good teeth. Another was short, with bad teeth. / Laudru’s counsel ironically asked one pert* if lie would add the colour of the liair, Land rit protested that he had not been shown the bones when they were discovered. M. Legasse, representing the relatives of one of the dead women, jumped up and cried angrily: “You want us to show you the liodies? There they arc!” There was then an uproar m the court. Lamlru was heatedly shouting, and the President, the Public Prosecutor. and the two counsels were all speaking together for some minutes. Laudrii asserted that the bones had been pat in the garden after he left Gambais. The evidence for the defence was commenced.
