Some extraordinary billiards were witnessed in yesterday morning’s session. The New Zealander had the splendid average of 194 against New man’s 110. MeConuchy’s losing _ hazard game is arousing great enthusiasm. His wonderful unfinished lueak in tbe evening created a great impression. His lead indicates now that Newman will have to play at the top ol his form if he wants to win.
