ARBUCKLE TRIAL.

Fred Fishbacker a cinema, director, and friend of Arbuekle who was present at the fatal party, testified that he carried miss Rappe out of the room and put her into a. cold bath. He declared he held her so that her blood would go to her bead. Arbuekle was not intoxicated. Witness did not bear Rappe utter any c rv. Tb e defence contended that the manner in which Rappe was carried produced the bruises found on her body, fyid it was intimated that medical experts would be called to show internal injury, due to muscular contraction, the result of immersion in the cold bath.
