DEATH OF CHINAMAN. AUCKLAND. Nov. 21. At the Supreme Court, a half-caste Fijian. Charles Mefloou. was charged with the manslaughter of Du Moy. otherwise Wong Foo, a Chinese gardener, who did as the result of an a Iff ay in C'ook Street on October 2-1. Alternative charges were made of assault, and causing bodily barm. After a short retirement, tlie jury returned a verdict of guilty of assault and causing bodily harm. Sentence was deferred till Saturday.
