It is pointed out that at present, the demands are limited by the term of the existing eontracts, made during the war. Jnqitiries are already afoot to discover whether there are any means by which the present arrangement may be modified in file direction of increased dealings with Australia and New Zealand.

BRITISH COAT, REVIVAL. LONDON, Nov. 15. British coal is speedily recapturing its lost export trade. September figures show 2,406,000 tons were exported, compared with 1,475,000 tons in September of 1920. The corresponding American exports, however, were, 1,498,000 and 4,830,000 tom.
