A suggestion has therefore been made to the Board to submit an amended plan of a school of two rooms to accommodate up to 72 pupils. Mrs Ktnffnn who was a prominent mem her of Holy Trinity Church. Greyniontli, and wife of AD’ Staffan. the well-known musician, died yesterday, after a painful illness lasting about : ix weeks. Yesterday she became unconscious and remained in that state until her death. The late Mrs Staif.au took a great interest in church worn and was actively associated with many functions connected with Holy Trinity Church, and was a member of the ■Choir. She was born about 12 years ago, and leaves two brothers and three sisters in the North Island. She had no children.
