ORANGEMEN ON THE MOVE. LONDON, November d. The Ulstermen are feverishly organising nn “Ulster Imperial Guard”. It is to lie composed mainly of ex-service-men, whereof ten battalions have beeti recruited; Services were held in all churches throughout 'Protestant counties all Ulster yesterday. There were anglicans exchanging pulpits with non-Confur-mists and all wore preaching of a peril for Ulster.
ULSTER’S OBDURACY. LONDON, November 13. The gravity of the Irish situation remains unaltered. Mr Milne Barbour the Ulster Minister's declaration which is regawded as official, has completely upset the calculations of those believ- ■ ing that Ulster would agree at the last moment to accept the British Cabinet’s proposals, at least in principle. LONDON, November .14. The Australian Press Association learns that the next few days will be spent in ascertaining the definite and final terms of Ulster, also whether Sir •las Craig, and his colleagues have said their last word. The British Cabinet will meet todiy to decide on a reply to Sir Jas. Craig’s note, wherein he has demanded tint Ulster he given an independent dominion status. The Sinn Feiners had already refused to agree to partition. NECOT rAT lONS SUSP F.NT) KD. LONDON, November 14. The negotiations with the ginn Feiners have been suspended. They will remain so until Ulster’s position is clearly established. The annual Unionist Congress will lie held on Thursday, when it is expected that Mr Bonar Law will indicate which side he elects to support. It is also expepted the Unionists party as a whole will say “aye” or “nav” to the Ulster Cabinet.
ORANGEMEN ON THE WARPATH. LONDON, November 34. The Grand master of the Orange Order in England Ims written a letter saving:—“Every Protestant is Tuged to be firm, and to take a stand on the side of the rights of Ulster. This is if Britain is to be saved from treachery which envelopes her.” The Orange master indicates the possibility of a great Orange demonstration in Ixufdon to protest against alleg cd treachery on the part of the present Government • Mr Ronald O’Neill is seceding i 'om the Coalition. THE IRISH DELEGATES. LONDON, November 14. The Irish delegates have been in Dublin during the weekend, conferring with Mr De Valera. They attended a session of the Dail Eireann yesterday. BOYCOTT IN ULSTER. LONDON, Novemlier 13. Indications are forthcoming thal a truce is less regarded in the countryside.
A boycott is intensifying in Tyrone County, in Ulster, which has a Sinn Fein majority. There the police surl .’iseil a party of Sinn Feiners when they were posting a long list of firms, which have heen ordered to he hoyeot. ted for selling Relfast goods.
