Hayne. chemist, of Dunedin, in custody on a* charge of using instruments to procure miscarriage, died in the hospital at- 8 a.m. murder charge involved DUNEDIN, Nov 5.
.lames R. Hay lie appeared on remand Oil charges of unlawfully using an instrument on Violet Atkins to procure a miscarriage. l'h t . Chief Detective announced the death of the woman at Timaru this morning, which, no doubt would involve a, murder charge. The Magistrate remanded accused to the 10th at Dunedin, on the understanding that a further remand would be made to Timaru on the 17th.
