Twenty-two people were killed and 300 injured, through an explosion in a powder magazine, in Saint Elena fortress, near Savona. The fortress was demolished and the surrounding country devastated. Many buildings were destroyed, including a church and town hall. Newspaper messages allege that the explosion was due to a Terrorist plot. SILESIAN DECISION.
