POLLARIMS PICTURES. CONSTANCE TAI.MADOE MONDAY. The name of Constance Talmadye is always surety for something' special in the way of bright ami amusing comeily, bui taken in conjunction with the name of her latest picture, “Dangerous Business,” iL is a guarantee of a night of the most sparkling, vivacious ami snappy entertainment that has been here for a long time. The •'Dangerous Business” is the frying pan of trouble into which the heroine drops herself, all through saving at the altar with a man she didn’t like, that she was already married to another. Out of the Irving pan into the lire of connubial complication she hops when the said man turns up from the war, and instead of being the “boob” she had expected proves to be a regular cave man. who all the same sincerely loves her, though his actions don’t show it. lie forces her to go through with the deception unde: conditions that are to sn.y the least delicate, but are extremely tunny, and splendidly handled. Ot course ( onstance Talmadge shines right through and the hero, Kenneth Harbin, is a eltaruling insistent cave man. In all her previous efforts the snappy comedienne has invariably got the best of the mere male so that in ”Dangerous Business” she will not raise much sympathy from the stronger sex when tho\ realise that this time the mere male person ha.s it till his own way. A very strong supporting programme will also 1 ,. .'omul, including the latest Pa the Gazuttc. an Outing Chester scenic, and Harold Lloyd, the king of merrymakers in a I’atlie comedy •'Bumping into Broadway.”
